9-Hole Ladies' Golf-Around League (GAR)

Stone Creek Ladies' Golf Club is a member of the Nine-Hole Ladies' Golf-Around League, which is comprised of several golf clubs around the Ocala, Dunnellon, and Summerfield areas. This league, which was founded in 1963, conducts a monthly 9-hole golf event that provides the opportunity to meet ladies with similar interests from outside neighboring communities, share a meal, play golf at several courses throughout the year, and have fun.

To Participate

• All Stone Creek residents (women) are eligible to participate
• Must have paid your current annual Stone Creek Ladies' Golf Club dues
• Must have an active handicap index (GHIN)

You may participate in as many or as few of the events as desired. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the Stone Creek golf pro shop, typically one month prior to the monthly event.   Click HERE to see the current season schedule. 

Cost

The cost of each event varies, but is typically $40 - $60. The cost includes $6 event fee (which supports golf prizes), golf fee, and luncheon (includes tax and gratuity).  Payment for the event is made to Stone Creek Ladies' Golf Club and is due by the assigned deadline for each event. Participants will be confirmed based on the sequence in which payment is received. 

GAR Event Activities

The sequence may vary based on the tee time.

• Check-in, meet and greet
• Continental breakfast (optional depending on tee time)
• 9-Hole round of golf (tee time is scheduled by hostess club)
• 4 flights based on handicap
• Shotgun start
• Play is always individual stroke play
• USGA rules of golf will apply as well as local rules
• Luncheon and socialize
• Golf Awards presentation - awards are for each of the 4 flights.
• Low Gross
• Low Nets (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Low Putts
• Split-the-Pot Drawing - ladies may purchase raffle tickets (1 for $1 or 6 for $5 increments) to win cash
